Camera Shots - Video Tutorial

Hello students! This blog is for you all to have a space to complete work outside of college, which we can later discuss in class.  No more carrying papers around or on a USB, all you have to do is click and post!

We have been looking at film language in class and we need to delve further into camera shots! There are various posts in this blog containing questions that you need to answer about the particular camera shots used.

BUT FIRST!! Below is a YouTube video to help you to refresh your memory on the different shot types and what they are used for. Times when each shot type occurs in the video is listed below, so you can jump to the one you are looking for in an instant.

Establishing shot - 0:09
Medium shot (MS) - 0:31
Close-up (CU) - 1:04
Extreme close-up (ECU) - 1:34 
Over the shoulder shot - 3:04
High-angle shot - 3:50
Low angle shot - 4:29

Point of View (P.o.V) - 5.10
